Karaoke Box

Brand new for 2010, we are pleased to bring you the Animazement Karaoke Box (beta)!

What's a Karaoke Box?

Simply a small room where you can come in anytime to relax, sing, and cheer on your fellow otaku!  There's no judges, no stage, no pressure.  We'll have a system pre-loaded with a few hundred of the most popular songs from anime, J-pop, video games, and the timed lyrics will be projected on a screen for you.  Japanese lyrics will be presented in phonetic Romaji--so you don't have to read Japanese to play!  Whenever possible, we will have both the instrumental/karaoke version, as well as the original (with vocals) version of a song for you to choose from.

Cosplay Photography

Our professional Cosplay Photographer will be on site to take great photos like these, so you can take home a great keepsake that shows off your hard work! There are no sitting fees, and your first print is free, courtesty of Frost Productions.  Additional prints and a photo CD will be available for purchase.

Tabletop Gaming

B.Y.O.G.

Join your fellow otaku in playing your favorite Japan and anime-themed tabletop, RPG, and card games in our B.Y.O.G. Tabletop Gaming room!  Bring Your Own Games, meet friends old and new, and play to your heart's content.  We provide a room with open tables, you bring the games!  We'll have a signup sheet, so if you want to run a certain game in the room at a specific time, you may do so.  If no one signs up for a given time slot, then, it's anything goes!

Tournaments

There are no official tabletop gaming tournaments scheduled for Animazement 2010.  If you are interested in volunteering to coordinate tabletop gaming tournaments for 2011, please contact us!
