I've been to the past three animazements and im hoping to go to 2013's con but I always get disappointed because I come to meet new people and make some new friends but I always socially awkward penguin and only chill with the people I came with haha. Maybe this is a good place to start.

I'm the guy who ran around in several different costumes with a gears of war Retro Lancer that made the REALLY annoying noise......I also snuck up behind people.....stalked people....and hid in bushes before shooting them.

My cosplays were the Team Rocket Grunt on saturday.

Was Tobi throughout the entire Animazement. If I wasnt jabbing a loaf of bread onto my mask (or eyeslot) or trying to drink in the same fashion(s), then it probably wasnt me. Oh, and I sorta danced and did odd poses every here and there, but thats besides the point.

Animazement was a heck of a lot of fun and it being my first year, I already cant wait for my second one. Thank you lot who made it an experience I'll never forget, and more importantly, thank you lot who 'will' make it another experience i'll never forget.

I love drawing. It is a passion of mine and I hope one year to be in artist alley. Animazement is a very special time for me. I feel like there I can get away from my everyday life. I was , still am, and probally still will be a victim of bullying. Anime was the place I turned to to cheer me up. When I learned about Animazement, It made me happy. At animazement I didn't feel so different and alone. I made three new friends this year. I hope to be friends with even more in years to come. One thing will never change though, the happiness and love I feel at Animazement. I hope I will continue to feel this love through all the years I go.

My name is Janet, and this will be my first year at Animazement! I'm from Florida, and will be attending with my boyfriend. We've heard great things about the convention and figured we would give it a shot in favor of Fanime or a local con the same weekend. We like to experience new events and conventions so I'm excited to see what is in store! I've been a longtime fan of anime, manga, video games, cartoons, etc. Some of my favorite series are Slayers, The Legend of Zelda, Chrono Trigger/Cross, Vampire Hunter D, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, and the works of Team ICO. I'm looking forward to meeting new people and hopefully making some new friends. I heard this con is big on fandom and honestly that's one of the things that is drawing me to it. Whats up! I'm Willie of Double Stomp Productions! I am a cosplay and portrait photographer based out of South Carolina. This will be my first Animazement and I'll be doing a lot of cosplay photography there this year. As a matter of fact, I'm about to begin signups to do photography at Animazement beginning this weekend! I'll give more details soon!

I'm contemplating cosplaying on the first night though as Magi from Zettai Karen Children so if anyone wants to do a cosplay meet up for Zettai Karen Children Presents: The Unlimited Hyoubu Kyousuke, definitely let me know!

I agree it can be scary and lonely to not have any of your friends there, but I have met some of my best friends at AZ and other cons ^^ <3 we are all your nerdy family and hope you have a great time despite the absence of your friend! I am always down to meet new people!!
