I'm still toying with the idea myself, but I don't think I've ever seen a Animal Crossing cosplay ever (at least just in person). I mean, I'm sure they exist! I recall seeing a few pictures scattered around the internet.
I'm thinking about either cosplaying as Nook and going around jokingly selling people things. But I don't know! If only one person is interested and they also don't know what to do, I'd love to maybe work on a Copper and a Booker! Or maybe work on getting a small group together of the immediate characters like Nook, Brewster, Blathers, Resetti, etcetc. I was thinking more humanized/gijinka over actural animal crossing-y fursuits, but hey whatever suits your fancy.
I'd be willing to share my skype with anyone who'd want to talk about it more~ I love little group and pair cosplays and I think Animal Crossing could be fun! I'm feeling a little spunky towards cosplays this year so I think I'll probably even be in character during the whole time (within reason, of course) too!

Re: Animal Crossing '13Hi there! Hopefully this post isn't too old to revive.
I usually bring my Animal Crossing cosplay, and plan to do so again this year. Mine is the human girl with the work outfit you get at the beginning of the game (Gamecube version, so the dress and hat match). I also have a net and bag to go with it. I've only seen one other Animal Crossing cosplay myself a few years ago; I saw someone one year that dresses up as a human guy (later version, so spiky hair with no hat). Current cosplay lineup:
~Animal Crossing Human ~Niichan (Blue Exorcist) ~Little Sister (Bioshock) still WIP.
