Best Mystery/Puzzle games

I'm a huge fan of adventure games and try to buy every new puzzle game that is released . My favorite series would have to be:
1. Phoenix Wright
2. Professor Layton
3. Ghost Trick
4. Hotel Dusk
5. 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors

Is anyone else interested in this genre? Feel free to geek out and discuss!

All-time favourite puzzle games, for sure. :3 I like the Puzzle Bobble series a lot too, especially playing it on the bid red. <3 Phoenix Wright was pretty cool; I keep meaning to play past the first one lololol. And I've been wanting to play Professor Layton for, like, forever! As well as 999 and Ghost Trick. So behind on gaming. orz;

The Silent Hill games usually have some interesting puzzles thrown in every now and again. Origins had the best, in my opinion.

But as for puzzles in general...I love puzzle games <3 I've really only played Layton but I'm trying to branch out xD;

Yeah, Phoenix Wright is definitely my favorite series ! I get too scared in Silent Hill, so I use walkthroughs which defeats the purpose of solving puzzles. SH2 was my favorite game. I've never played Origins. Was it good?

Origins is great :] I totally recommend it.

Trauma Team has a pretty fun diagnostic and forensic sections which is mystery/puzzle-esque. But that's only like a third of the game though.

I love Phoenix Wright and Professor Layton! And Portal, of course.

If you want to play a game that's a bit puzzle and mystery for PC I'd highly recommend the Nancy Drew series. Seriously. They're awesome. I've only managed to play three of them and they're all awesome. DON'TJUDGEME.

I don't know if it would really count as a puzzle game, but I think it does: Catherine.

It's pretty frustrating, but still amazing...

There are more adventure games coming out this year, thanks to the 3DS ! Professor Layton 5 and the sequel to 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors will be localized in the US. Can't wait.
