Disagreeing on the internet is a time honored tradition.

Harlem Shake may be irrelevant, HOWEVER, lets be honest. The lines of Geek Culture are being blurred as we speak.

Fandoms are kinda like a Venn Diagram rather than a stiffly categorized...type...thing.

Certainly nobody is telling you that you can't dance and have fun to a new craze just because it's not relevant to the purpose of the convention which is to celebrate and honor Asian history and pop culture. In my opinion the purpose of the convention is to join together lots of people with similar interests and to, of course, have lots of fun. Much to the very predictable and teasing moans and groans from other con-goers of an over-done meme. it's part of all the fun, my opinion wasn't meant to be taken as offensive.
