I've been removed from my old obsession of otakudom for about three years now. People used to know me as that kid that's all about some Japanese stuff. Now they know me as that bearded guy that rides bikes really far.
Most people wouldn't even guess that I spent many years in an otaku craze. They probably wouldn't even believe it if I told them. Unless they saw my room back home, still a shrine to my old ways.
Do I ever want to go back? Yep.
tl;dr - I used to be really into Anime/Manga/Japan etc.. Now I don't remember the last time I watched Anime. And sometimes I find myself missing the culture.
