So since the sweep deleted the original thread to this, I figured I'd remake it. Hopefully no one has a problem with me doing so. ^^ The rules are simple: Someone posts a picture from an anime and everyone else tries to guess it. Whoever guesses it right first gets to post the next picture and so on. If an anime has no correct answers within 24 to 48 hours, please post a hint or another picture so that we can keep this thread going. It's understandable if the thread dies every now and then, but going a month or two without a hint gets rather bothersome. Looks like either Slayers or Lost Universe. To be honest, I go with the Lost Universe answer more than Slayers, but I've been wrong before...

Last time I used this Anime it stumped everyone and sat dormant on the boards for like two weeks (mostly because todays youth doesn't appreciate older Anime, not all of them mind you, but most)... I'm so disappointed in all of you. The people who did know it sat silent becuase they thought it was to easy, and the people who don't know it didn't even bother guessing. It's a super easy series that ran 195 episodes, had 6 OAV's, and 6 Movies, that were all virtually released by the same company in the U.S. (with the exception of one movie). My first pic even had the main character in it which should have been a big give away. So now I'm posting a 2nd pic with an even larger pic of the main character, and I'm going to give you a clue... Clue: Indie musician Matthew Sweet used this series in his 90's music video for the song "I've Been Waiting". And here's your pic...  "Which side are we on? We're on the side of the demons, Chief. I...I actually know this one...I believe.
Is it Urusei Yatsura?? My friend and I actually looked this anime up after we found a vinyl record in our thrift store that was from this anime.

i know i know!!! Witchblade!!! Love that anime!! Love the anime better then the american comic and the american series. Okay here is one. i think personally this is a tough one b/c I dont think this show is well known. This is one of my top 10 all time favorite animes of all time! The character in the middle looks like Hayama from "Kodomo No Omocha" better known as "Kodocha" in the U.S. I'm probably wrong, but that's my guess...
