I hosted a cosplay fitness panel at Animazement this year, and with any luck will do so next year. Check out my cosplay fitness video and article page here -

Apparently I'm losing weight, or at least bulk.

I'm not even trying either. People have been asking for a couple of weeks if I'm losing weight. First couple I brushed off. But it's been happening all month. I don't even know what I'm doing.

Am I like the only one trying to gain weight? I'm so skinny but it's hard for me to eat a lot w/o feeling sick.

I hear you dude, it's not as fun as it sounds in theory. The smaller and more frequent you can have the meals the better, you won't feel quite as stuffed.

Got my new treadclimber set up last night, aka my future brother in law set it up for me. XD Finished my fun session on it. Can I say, best machine I've ever used? XD

Been struggling with sweets lately... I'll eat perfectly through out the whole day then ruin it at the end with a box of butterfingers/M&Ms/some form of chocolate. Let's keep pushing ourselves though! We have 8 months to get in the best shape of our lives!

Try fiberones brownies. I'm a chocolate lover and all those normal candy bars are just not worth the points. XD So fiberone brownies or skinnycow candy bars work wonders. Get the chocolate and its not as bad for you. lol

Moderation is key. You can have some chocolate, just not a king sized big bag of wonderful, delicious peanut M&Ms.

DAMMIT! Now I want some M&Ms . . .

Well, I've been reducing my overall carb intake somewhat, and balancing out my protein and fat intake. Now if I want a lot of carbs, I gotta work out to burn them.

That's actually really funny you say that, cause that's exactly what I did! I decided I'm not gonna have any more candy until 2013! Getting started on my new years resolutions early. So as my final candy blow out I got a huge bag of M&M peanuts, and ate the whole thing. :P

Yeah I have one every once in awhile, they're pretty good. :) If I'm at home it's not like I have the cravings or anything, my challenge is that I work at a movie theatre and I'm around candy all day... That I could eat... FOR FREE.

I work at Walmart. And I stare down candy all day. So. Freaking. HARD. To ignore. >.<

I'm trying to get into the habit of at least walking several days a week. And I made tonight my last sweets splurge. Once I finish the junk I bought (damn those honey buns we sell I have a weak spot for *shakes fist*), I need to tone it down.

I want to be healthier in general, but cosplay is a nice motivator. xD

Honey buns are hard to resist for me as well. XD I usually have to let my mom go down that aile and meet her on the next. Family visiting is not so much fun on my diet. "Here have some of this spagetti" "Can't have it I'm on a diet." "Oh than have some bread." "...*gets a salad*"
It's usually something like that every meal. XD It's kinda funny in a way as well as annoying.

Trying to lose weight by May so I'll at least lose some of the fat I have. Especially around the stomach area.

I'm starting out on doing the C25k challenge. Question for anyone who might know, but I heard that running on an elliptical (like the only indoor equipment we have) isn't as good as just plain running. Any truth to this?

Lol, I carry my weight extremely well, but I still need to lose it. I need to get rid of my muffin top and belly rolls.

Full-speed, full-power, lunging Shii-Cho kata with a Shinai, plus reactive strikes against thrown objects. Really feeling it in my quads, glutes, and hamstrings now.

For some idea what I was doing, look here. Yes, I am a dork.

I dropped a lot of weight since high school, but now I'm trying to get toned. xD Big difference between skinny and toned.

This year i'm trying to do Celty from Durarara or Shinobu from No More Heroes. I'm skinny enough for both of them right now, but Celty's leather suit would be much more comfortable if all my important bits didn't jiggle. o_o;
AZ 2012 Cosplay Possibilities
Thursday - Possibly lolita
Friday - Shinobu Jacobs' Outfit 1 [from No More Heroes]
Saturday - Celty's Jumpsuit [from Durarara!!]
Sunday - Dunno yet~
