Unconvential Cosplay Problems and Their Solutions-ACCEPTED

Have a question that doesn't really apply to other cosplay panels? Like "How to keep myself from sweating in cosplay?" Or how about, "How do I transport my cosplays without killing them?"

It's random questions like these that (may or may not) keep young (or not so young) cosplayers up at night! Well, we're here to answer these questions.

We (with "we" being my friend and also possibly one other of our friends) have several topics that we know that we want to talk about. This can probably take up thirty minutes. For the remainder of our time, we'll more than likely take questions from the audience and try to answer them to the best of our abilities.

For any remaining time (if there aren't any questions) we'll probably touch on other subjects that are probably going to be "scratched" from the panel when we make up the master plan.

So, the plan is to have an hour long panel, hopefully on Friday or Saturday. If you guys have any questions or suggestions for topics then please post them here!

Would this be strictly logistics based questions like the examples, or would it include things like how much wood glue and hair cement would be needed to make things like wigs and straps defy physics for screen accuracy?

We'll think about discussing those! It might end up in "talk about this stuff if there is extra time" part of the panel. (Since stuff like that will take only a few minutes to discuss)

We're going to make a big Powerpoint with the "main points" being the first few slides and the "extra/run out of time points" being the later slides.

We'll upload the powerpoint/slides on here or another place so that we can still provide you the information we figure out the solutions to, even if we run out of time and can't present everything.

Especially transporting wigs. I still have a hard time doing it. Last year I just put all four of mine in a box while still on their wig heads. It was okay for the shorter ones my my long Nill wig got so tangled xD; Although I won't be there, I'm sure others have had similar problems.
