As A fellow NC Brony, I sooo want this panel to get accepted but it may not happen. I dont want to rain on anyone's parade but checking out the Fan panel policy/rules it quotes.

"3. Panels should reflect an aspect of anime, manga, or Japanese culture. Animazement does reserve the right to reject panels if we feel the material is not appropriate for our convention."


MLP is not related to any of the following and it may not get accepted. Just pointing out the possibilites.

We're very much so aware of that clause, but in our application stated clear reasons why we believe it should be accepted

In all fairness, lot's of other anime conventions feature pony panels, simply because MLP has become part of the anime fandom at large in many ways.

and the other one before that was my Bro's.

And in my opinion, AZ's more of like an all-embracing nerd con than strictly adhering to anime fandom when it comes to the con-goers The more random stuff to love, the better!
