The Ichiban panel was hilarious, and terrifying...I hope this is a little more in control...The guy to girl ratio was hugely off but probably because girls were too shy for that type of panel or the fact that the guys were ridiculous. I had several follow me back to my room demanding why I didn't "participate" o_o

-I've yet to receive any conformation from Animazement about this panel, so I have no idea if it's being approved or not.
-Due to various real-world events and a lack of fiscal income, I will NOT be attending Animazement this year. I'm sure that, assuming the panel DOES get accepted, the girls are willing to take over in my stead.

If things change and I happen upon a sudden windfall of cash, you bet your boxers I'll be there.

I will definitely be willing to take over in your stead. I'm going to AZ if I have to walk there and back. I already have my room and ticket. The only thing that still needs working is the ride (which is still in the works).

Hey just wanted to point something out from the panel policy.The last day to submit panel ideas is April 15. U won't get a panel confirmation until May 1st. when Shelly emails all the panel hosts. Just be patient til then.

I do. Just would need to know when (if) this panel happens and where in the building.

It really depends on what you guys want. But I'm more worried about just how many people we get. If we get like 15 people that's more than one game of apples to apples can handle. Not to mention, I'm sure we'll have more than 15.

I'll talk it over with my fellow panelholdermcpersonface and see what we come up with.

Edit: And 2Xperson games, well, I dunno. I don't want person A monopolizing person B's time when person B is not interested in person A. Maybe a speed dating type thing? But I don't want anyone to feel like they're being passed around, ya know?

First off...Wow. (Especially the whole following you back to your room thing. Second got a quick question. How was the ichiban panel runned? Did they have games to break the ice? If so, what kind of games?

Ok, so now that I've gotten back my taxes, maybe I can go to AZ this year. Depends how hard I party up until then I suppose.

Speed dating would probably work best, although it'd be a pain to organize. You'd have to group who wants who, then take each of those groups and separate them into speed dating pods, then rotate everyone so that everyone gets a chance to meet everyone.

As for creepy stalker types, if you tell them you're not interested and they continue to persist, give one of the people running the panel a wave down and they'll handle it.

If I'm there, I'll personally see to it that the problem person is taken directly to ConOps for disturbing con-goers, which if I remember correctly has potential for badge-revocation. I could be wrong there, don't quote me on it.
