I don't think any panels have been approved yet, they said they're going to have meetings starting today and that people will start hearing back on whether panels gets approved or not this week. So I'm guessing today is the earliest we'll hear about panels, up to about the 2nd week of May?

And judging by responses in this thread, the biggest division would be the LGBT crowd and 'hetero'. That'd probably be easiest to manage, no point in setting people up with people they're not interested in. (Yay for stating the obvious!)

I think the sticker system works best, you know who wants what. If I see a guy I think is attractive and he has a pink sticker, I know not to bother him. If he has a blue or yellow sticker, I can hit on him.
Really, I don't think we need to separate everyone in a mixed mixer.

I like this speed dating idea a lot. I have single friends who I'm sure would love to try this out. And LOL at neko's rainbow dildo and singing. Yes, stickers are more ideal. If help is needed with the panel, I can definitely help run it or assist with anything. ^^

Although I won't be at the convention, this panel does seem rather interesting. I would debate whether or not to participate xD

But anyway, I think this is the best way to go about it. It would eliminate lot of social awkwardness when it comes to dating. And no, I don't feel that this idea is gay. That was incredibly uncalled for.

I for one am going to be wearing whatever costume I have scheduled for whenever this is going to be unless it's an 'outside the con' kind of thing. But given that this is a panel in the making, well... in costume it is.

All my cosplays are female this year, unlike previous years, so no confusion.

Oh my god if the panel happens when I wear my really elaborate ballgownesque costume, hahaha...

That reminds me, what time/day was this planning to be at, or are you just waiting for a response still and leaving the placement of it to the staffers if it gets approved?

If you're undecided you could just wear a yellow (bi) sticker if you wanted...I guess. I mean, it'd be easier for everyone involved, I think.

I'm actually not sure about the day and time. I assume it's going to be either later Friday or Saturday because it is an 18+ panel.

I'm still waiting on AZ to send me a confirmation e-mail. You'll all know as soon as I do.

Also, as it turns out, I'm not going to have the money for AZ this year. Turns out those tax returns I got back ended up being spent on other things that were completely necessary and totally unavoidable costs (my 21st birthday party...well...parties...and tires. Folks that drive, you know my pain. Tires are expensive.)

Anyways, like I said, as soon I as have the details I'll let you all know.
