So, I'm in here on the Animazement forums and my grandfather walks in and decides to pick on me but he failed epically by saying, "Oh! You know they canceled the Anastasia thing?"
"What?"
Pa: "The Anastasia thing on May the 25th."
Me: "ANIMAZEMENT, Pa!"
Pa: "Amazement?"
Me: "ANIMAZEMENT!"
Pa: "Oh! Animazement?"
Me: "Yes!"
Pa: " "
Me: " "

I had to post this cause it was too funny but didn't know which cat. to put it under! Has anyone else's parents or grandparents tried picking like that with them?

I thought it was funny. My folks don't even know what the con is called either. If they ever tried doing something like that, they'd probably just refer to it as "that anime/cartoon thing."

And my director at the Wildlife Center keeps referring to it as a conference, no matter how many time I tell her it's a convention. Not that it's that big of a difference, but still funny. c:
