2012 Video Game TournamentsFriday 7p – Soulcalibur V
Friday 9p – King of Fighters XIII Saturday 8p – [TBA] <- BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend (*updated 5/20) Saturday 10p – Street Fighter x Tekken (*2v2 teams) As it stands now, all event will run on PS3. Matches will be 2/3, finals 3/5. No loosers bracket. We will have pads, so bring your stick. Rules for each game will be posted here soon enough, but >think< Evo standard. The mystery game on Saturday will be a fighter, we are still deciding. We may change the times if it conflicts with other events like the dance or concert. If there is a demand for a team event, we can try to run it but no promises. (*4/16 update: We will run teams SFxT) Majors -=- Wedoca '12
Re: 2012 Video Game TournamentsIm hoping that 8pm saturday tourney is AE
Re: 2012 Video Game Tournamentswhy isnt sf x tekken the team tournament?
5$ money matches
dont pick up the sticks if you aint ready!!!
Re: 2012 Video Game TournamentsTekken 6 would be a good choice too, seeming as though last year had a good turnout.
Re: 2012 Video Game TournamentsSo... When you say to "think evo".
Evo's SFxTK tournament this year is a 2v2 tournament. Is this going to be 2v2 or is it 1v1? ![]()
Re: 2012 Video Game TournamentsYes, SFxT will be 2v2 teams. After talking with Brian about it and all the chatter on the thread, we decided it would be best. If you do not have a partner, you will assigned one at random.

Re: 2012 Video Game TournamentsI, personally, would love for that other tourney to be SSF4 AE!!!
Re: 2012 Video Game TournamentsCome on SSFIVAE. Let's play it once more and then let SSFIV die in peace.
Re: 2012 Video Game TournamentsNaruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations Should be there. It is totally tournament worthy.

Re: 2012 Video Game TournamentsI'm honestly hoping for Skullgirls to be there.
And if not, hit me up and I will lend you my console with it lol
Re: 2012 Video Game TournamentsWe should have some Naruto on casuals at least.
As for Skullgirls, we have no internet in the RCC. We will try to use a phone as a hotspot for a slim to connect. You do not need to remain connected, just when you start the game. No promises. Majors -=- Wedoca '12
Re: 2012 Video Game TournamentsMy friend, who is too lazy to make an account for this forum, wanted me to ask why isn't there going to be a Brawl tournament?
Re: 2012 Video Game Tournaments
Because I hate Smash*. And no one stepped up to volunteer to run it. We will have Brawl/Melee running for casuals, and I even found a 27" and 32" CRT's just for the Smashers so I do not have to hear about lag. (*I also despise Halo and all console FPS games, so you'll never see them run in a Wedoca game room) Majors -=- Wedoca '12
Re: 2012 Video Game TournamentsWell, at least there are casual Smash games. There would have been a lot of people attending the Brawl tournament if there was one. I didn't know people volunteer for things like that. I would have done it.
Re: 2012 Video Game Tournamentsoh boy. I trained to the bone for AE but it's a no-go. It's all good, though. I kick some ass in 13 at least and mash buttons in SC5. >=O
Re: 2012 Video Game TournamentsThere are MANY people that would have stepped up to run Brawl, myself included. Oh well, at least that clears up time and space for other games I guess.

Re: 2012 Video Game TournamentsThat's odd. Didn't realize that was a problem. I can offer a PS3 with it, which does not require to connect to the internet to play. edit: I'm bringing it anyways, so drop me a line if you're interested.
