Any Advice for First time Table?

Hey guys, I'm decently sure I know what I'm doing when it comes to selling prints at a table but just in case I'm missing something, does anyone have any advice for a first-timer? I'm certainly not new to the art auction but the actual artist's alley has got me feeling a little intimidated o_o;

Hello there Rikaflare! Your prints are really beautiful! I'm sure you'll have no problem attracting people to your table!

I've been doing Artist Alley for 5 years (I don't have a table this year though) and when it comes to selling prints, the only bit of advice I would give is to display them in a way that will attract people's attention. Prints and other 2D artwork is a bit difficult for the average passerby to see if it's just lying flat on the table. Perhaps you can put them all in a big folder that people can look through, or have a few of them hanging up around your table so people can have a quick glance at your type of work and be drawn to look more closely at it that way.

Also be sure you have at least one person at your table at all times!

Don't feel intimidated! AZ's Artist Alley is made up of mostly really nice people, I'm sure you'll have lots of fun and best of luck! Hope this helped!

My basic art alley tips:
- have money to make change for people
- have business cards (even if you hand make them, anything is better than nothing)
- make friends with your neighbors
- have fun!
