FYE Anime Day (Anywhere)

I hear the next Animania event will be sometime in July. No word on an exact date just yet.

Well, the nearest F.Y.E. that I know of is no longer as big as it once was, so I'm not sure if there is still going to be an Anime Event for it since it's smaller, or at least from what I've seen. But I do hope there is one for sure.

I don't think that there is going to be anymore Anime Days at FYE, but there are Anime Days that are hosted elsewhere.

If anyone goes to Suncoast at Cary Towne Center, just wanted to pass along word that it'll be closing in early Spring and will re-open elsewhere in the mall as an FYE. There will be more information in the time leading up to the transition.

I'm gonna have to drop by as well. I haven't heard from Alan yet about what all is going to happen with the inventory yet (if he even knows anything at this point), but I'll be keeping tabs. He did tell me that the new space will be larger and that Judge Domo may make his triumphant return after FYE opens. Hopefully the cosplayers will return to Cary once moar. I haven't been to Animania at Suncoast since like '08.

Is the store still there? Do they sell anime plushies and posters like in the old days? The last Suncoast I went to was at Northgate Mall ages ago... =(

The Suncoast is still open in Cary. They don't really sell a lot of plushies or any posters anymore, but they still have a huge selection of titles. Last I heard, it might not be until sometime in May for the transition since corporate keeps pushing the date back.
