The E.C.A.S. Photo Scavenger Hunt Is Back For 2013

O.K. people, it's been a few years since we did it, but The East Coast Anime Society is planning on putting another Photo Scavenger Hunt together for 2013. We plan on having a 1st and 2nd place winner, as well as having a "Biggest Cojones" prize. So get your cameras and iPhones ready... Game On!

I loved the photo scavenger hunt the first two years I went and was so sad it wasn't back the other years! Gives me an extra reason to take lots of pictures!

For those of you taking place in the Cosplay Contest at Animazment, or even the Photo Scavenger Hunt, we have some great prizes for you. NIS and Animeigo have sent us some real nice $60 box sets, DVD's, and T-Shirts. Just more incentives to attend AZ and "GET SOME"!!!

You get a list of really random stuff to find/have people do and take pictures of it and send them in after con. Each is worth different point amounts. Some things in the past ranged from singing to a staff member to having two people kiss. Some things have involved specific characters.

O.K. people, here's the word. To make things more fair for everyone, you can not pick up your Scavenger Hunt list until 4:00p.m. Friday the 24th. This should give everyone a reasonable enough amount of time to make it through registration, check-in, etc. This should also give me the necessary time to hide all the special items. Special Items you say? That's right people, this year I've added a few twists to the hunt list. There will be special items hidden around the convention, items that you must bring back to Con-Ops to get a special picture with me that will net you serious points. But finding these items isn't so easy. First you must decipher the riddles and math problems hiding the locations of these items. Oh, and it's also a race to get these items, because once someone brings it to me in Con-Ops, the item is out of play.

Before I go though, I think I'll give two clues for you to linger on for the next few weeks...

1. There is a "Formal Dance / AZ Prom" taking place this year. Dress appropriately.

2. This years theme is Fantasy (example: Record Of Lodoss War). There will be a way to earn points related to this, the question is HOW?

Oh, and Gonzo, since your taking a year off this year and not working staff, your welcome to join in...
