Food at AnimazementWorried that you won't have the strength to carry your bags of anime? Your stomach might growl through the concert? Have no fear! Whether you decide to eat in the RCC, the Marriott hotel, at the hot dog cart, or any of the new restaurants within walking distance, there is plenty to eat at Animazement!
Marriott Hotel Food Options (New!)The Marriott Hotel's gift shop will be open from 7:00am until 10:00pm daily, for all of your Pocky and Ramune needs! They are stocking up on these convention staples just for you, so head on over to the Marriott and get your snack on! The Marriott Hotel's Bar Posta has created a special menu for our attendees! Everyone is welcome to enjoy pizza, wings, hummus, salads, sandwiches and more--whether or not you are a guest at the Marriott Hotel! Deathnote ($8) - A juicy sour Apple martini with a sweet cherry kicker. Deathnote Chibi ($8) - A shot of Crown, Cran, and Green Apple. Orange Ninja ($10) - Believe it! An aggressive mix of Grappa, cranberry, peach schnapps, and fresh-squeezed Orange…Served Old Fashioned Style with Thick Orange Zest. Rasengan ($10) - Fresh Citrus and White Cranberry infused vodka, shaken and served martini style, topped with a blue floater. Magical Girl ($10) - This isn’t Long Island…but it’s a stacked liquor iced tea with everything in the house. Served blue. Inuyasha ($10) - Sit, boy! This one's not for the weak--Grappa, Gin, Sambuca...On the rocks, with an olive. Bar Posta serves Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 12 midnight; Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m.
Raleigh Convention Center Food OptionsThe RCC will open its concession stand starting at 11 on Friday morning. They will sell Pocky and Ramune!Please pay attention to the hours of operation and plan your meals accordingly.
Downtown Raleigh Food InformationDowntown Raleigh hosts a number of convenient and tasty dining options within walking distance of the Raleigh Convention Center. Recent additions include Jimmy Johns, Krispy Kreme, and Shish Kabob, all right outside the convention center, plus a Chik-Fil-A adjacent to the Sheraton Hotel! Check out this map for specific restaurant locations. Raleigh Convention Center Food PolicyUnfortunately, the Raleigh Convention Center has a No Outside Food policy, so we cannot provide food on RCC grounds. You will not be able to bring food into the Raleigh Convention Center. Food will not be for sale in the Dealer's Room. We will also not be able to provide or sell food outside of vending hours (see above), so you should plan your weekend's dietary needs accordingly and make sure you follow healthy eating practices throughout the weekend. You are still free to eat food in your hotel rooms and in public places (such as the open area in front of the Progress Energy Center) provided you do not litter or leave a mess. If you order food, please have your food delivered to your hotel instead, as pizza places won't deliver to the Raleigh Convention Center. |
